Privacy notice
What Aksene holds about you, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
1. What we hold
- Your name, and your email address or mobile number.
- Your password, stored only as a hash, never in readable form.
- Delivery addresses and phone numbers you give at checkout.
- Your order and quote history, and payment confirmations.
- If you sign in with Google, the email and name Google shares with us.
- Photos taken during production quality checks (QC). They show garments, and may show a tailor’s workshop.
2. Why we hold it, and who else handles it
To take and deliver your order, confirm payment, answer your questions, and show you where your order is. We do not sell your data.
Other parties that handle data for us, today or when the product is hosted:
- Google, only if you choose Google sign-in: it receives that sign-in traffic.
- The courier that delivers your parcel will need your name, address and phone number. Which courier is to be confirmed.
- Planned, to be confirmed: a web host (Vercel), a database host (a Postgres provider in Singapore) and object storage for photos.
- Planned, to be confirmed: WhatsApp and email providers that carry messages about your order.
We will update this list when these are chosen and in use. The law may also require us to disclose data.
3. Your rights under UU PDP
Indonesia’s personal data protection law, Law No. 27 of 2022 (UU No. 27 Tahun 2022, “PDP”), gives you these rights over your personal data:
- to see the data we hold about you, and get a copy;
- to have wrong or incomplete data corrected;
- to have your data deleted;
- to withdraw a consent you gave, and to object to how your data is processed.
Write to support@wearaksene.com to use any of them; a person handles each request by hand. Some records, such as paid orders, we may have to keep for tax and accounting law; we will say so if that applies.
4. How long we keep it
The retention period is still to be confirmed. There is no self-service way to delete your account yet: send a deletion request to support@wearaksene.com and a person will handle it by hand. Order records may have to be kept for as long as accounting law requires.
5. Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and a short-lived cookie during Google sign-in. We do not use advertising cookies.
